Company Background

Architect Jorge Fossas, who is the sole owner, incorporated Contrucciones JFM, Inc. in San Juan Puerto Rico in 1982. His grandfather and father were both well-recognized leaders in the Puerto Rico Construction Industry. This three generation long tradition is followed by Architect Jorge Fossas who received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

From its inception, Construcciones JFM, Inc. has been devoted to providing a high quality product to its customers, during the past 18 years we have achieved this by completing projects totaling over thirty-five million dollars. Our projects cover the entire range of general construction from historical preservation to industrial construction.

Today, Construcciones JFM, Inc. principals direct a full field staff that includes Project Managers, Quality Control Managers, Field Supervisors and Job Foremen. The main office staff handles all accounting and payroll as well as estimating. In order to assure a tight control over the project budget all purchasing and job costing is handled out of the main office and directly supervised by Architect Jorge Fossas. Our people are in tune with the local work methods, their familiarity with the locally available skilled workers, materials and subcontractors expedite construction operations while maximizing cost efficiency.

We have worked to maintain our image of excellence by delivering top quality construction work. To back our claim of corporate strength, we are bonded by Seaboard Security Co. of New York.
